Let us remember the promise of God to always be with us in Leviticus 26:12 saying, “I will walk among you and be your God, and you shall be My people.”
Leviticus 26:12
This verse is a part of the Mosaic Law given to the Israelites while they were in the wilderness. In that chapter, the Lord revealed the blessings that would come to His people that will walk according to His ways and commandments.
“The Lord outlines the blessings that would come upon His people if they obeyed His commandments and walked in His ways. It’s important to remember that this covenant is a foreshadowing of the greater covenant we have in Christ.”

God’s Promise
That promise carries an eternal truth until today. God wanted to dwell not only among the Israelites, but also with us right now.
“God’s design to dwell among His people extends through the Old and New Testaments. In the New Testament, we find a fulfillment of this promise in the person of Jesus Christ who walked among us as Emmanuel, God with us.”
As Christians, we are experiencing that promise as the Holy Spirit dwells within us. God wants to have a personal and intimate relationship with you.
“God desires to dwell within us through the Holy Spirit. We are His temple, His dwelling place. He walks among us in our daily lives guiding us, comforting us, and empowering us to live as His people… It’s not a distant relationship, it’s an intimate, personal communion with the Almighty.”
