Keenan Clark gives the massive difference between believing in Jesus and following Jesus.
Keenan Clark
The preacher and pastor shared the great gap between believing and following Jesus in one of his Instagram videos. According to Keenan, a believer in Christ is not the same as a follower of Christ.
He said, “There’s a massive difference between believing in Jesus and following Jesus. You can believe in Jesus all day and stay right where you’re at.”

“I believe He’s king. I believe He’s Lord.” He continued, “I believe He’s a savior. I believe He’s real. You can believe in Him all day long and stay no different.”
Moreover, people who believe in Jesus are no different from the devils who also believe in Him. James 2:19 says, “You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that—and shudder.”
But the followers of Jesus are not like the believers.
Keenan said, “If you are actively following Jesus, it is impossible to stay where you’re at because though Jesus will meet you where you’re at, He will never allow you to stay where you’re at. Jesus will constantly be moving forward.”
What does Keenan mean by this?
It indicates that by following Jesus, the Holy Spirit in you will sanctify you to become more and more like Christ. 2 Corinthians 3:18 says, “So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord—who is the Spirit—makes us more and more like him as we are changed into his glorious image.”
“Jesus will be taking you through the crucible of dying to yourself and coming alive to who He’s created you to be,” Keenan continued.
But, he also gave a warning to those who follow Jesus but remain the same.
He said, “If you are following Jesus for years and your life looks no different, you may have settled for believing in Him and have completely checked out of following Him.”
Are you a believer or a follower of Christ?
